Hill House designed by Charles Rennie MacIntosh sits overlooking the firth of Clyde. It's space was designed to create a dialogue between the interior and the exterior. The fluid interaction of form and light creates narratives that as humans we dip in and out of. Many photographs of interiors try to capture a whole room. However as human being we can rarely percieve space this way. We scan small points of focus and join up these to make sense of our surroundings. The images made in this work examines these conscious and unconscious interactions. A glimpse of a piano, a bed, the dust on the floor.
